Angels Kitchen, Greenhills San Juan City

My high school barkada and I tried this place out together last Saturday. It is located right beside Lugang along Connecticut st. In Greenhills. We put in a reservation but since it was a Saturday there were not much people around. However I heard that if you come here on a Sunday it gets pretty packed. Mostly Chinese people come here as it is located in Greenhills where most of the Chinese community live.

Binagoongan Baboy (Php 408)

Longganiza Bolognese (Php 378)

Rustic Apple Pie (Php 238)

Tuyo Puttanesca (Php 358)

Lemony Shrimps (Php 398)

Their servings are actually pretty big  so you can actually share a plate of pasta and maybe also another plate of starters. My friend tried their Garlicky, Egless Caesars Salad and the Kani corn soup. They also serve free bread and liver spread before the mean and another spinach spread. The Tuyo Puttanesca a bit salty but still good and the Longganiza Bolognese to be really tasty and spicy. The lemony shrimp was good and not as oily as I expected it to be. The Binagoongan Baboys meat was really soft which made it good.

I wish that I had brought a better camera to take pictures of my food. I will try to make up for these pictures the next time a return to Angels Kitchen! Their Apple pie was also good and not as filling as apple pie usually is since there was more apple than Pie crust in their pie.

They have a small store here where they sell their liver spreads and salad dressings. I suggest that you also check this out when you come here.

Cookbook Kitchen, Eastwood Mall

I have eaten here a few times already with my friend and today I brought my brother here to try their food. My only concern with this restaurant is the fact that you come out smelling like the kitchen and their service is a bit slow. All three times that I went here I came out of the place smelling like the kitchen.

The food though I will not complain is very good here. My favorite here is definitely the Ilocos Pasta and the Parmesan Crusted White fish! It is something that is always baked to perfection and tastes amazing. Not too much oil is tasted when you eat here, and that is one thing I love about restaurants. This is a place that you would like to try with your family and friends.
